Finding The Right Bra For Your Figure

by Andrea Dilea

Whether you're happy with your size or not, it's your size so you have to come to terms with it. Self acceptance is what you need, you should accept and be happy with your size. Curves are attractive and your inner confidence affects your outer appearance. If you don't have self confidence, other people can tell. You shouldn't focus on the less attractive aspects of your figure, but on the most attractive parts. As an example, if you have have attractive breasts then show them off with a larger size push up bra. A push up bra enhance your appearance in your dress or top. They often look the best with outfits that show your collar bone.

As the name implies, a plus up bra 'pushes up' the breasts and makes them appear to be higher on the body. For those women whose breasts have already begun to sag a little due to the aging process, push up bras are an absolute necessity. A higher bust adds more length to the torso and makes the waist appear slimmer.

Push up bras come in a variety of materials, but ones made up of satin or lace are best. Choose bras with the outfits you will wear them under in mine. The push up bra (sometimes called the balcony bra, for obvious reasons) is a major staple for the girl who wants to look good and have a sexy silhouette on a special evening out. You'll be guaranteed to make heads turn your way when you walk through the door in a knock-out black dress with a good push up bra underneath.

Every plus size woman should have a push up bra. If you prefer a sensual bra that shows a little more skin, then you should consider a demi-cup push up or a demi-cup that has a lace trim. These bras make a feminine and provocative statement.

Push up bras are provided with wider set traps for that added amount of support, so you should be aware. The push up bra should fit like a glove or in other words it needs to fit extremely well. If you feel that the bra is not proportionate to your body or if it doesn't fit your body as you would expect it to then you should look for another.

When you buy a plus sized brassiere, regardless of style or design, it needs to fit your body type just right. One size will most likely not be right for you all your life. As you get older and your body goes through life's changes, your bra may need to change as well. Obtain a professional bra fitting at a specialty store or intimates department to ensure that you're getting the size that is just right for you. Most women haven't done this and as a result, are walking around in bras that don't fit them. If you know your optimum size, you can even purchase bras online because trying each garment on for fit isn't as much of a concern.
