The Original Is Another One For The Books!
If you travel or live in South Florida, you have to know about the beautiful beaches. I myself just spent a day out on the beach with my friends and family. When we got back, we were are starving. I directed us to a quaint, inexpensive burrito restaurant nearby. We all decided to try the Original burrito, and we were thoroughly impressed. I have tried many a burrito in my day, and nothing ever chalks up to South Florida! Their ingredients and quality standards are one of a kind!
The original burrito journey starts with rice. It's your call between yellow and brown. I am a huge fan of South Florida's yellow rice, so I had to go with that. Though, I've only heard good things about the brown rice too!
The next important step is protein. If you're a vegetarian, which a couple of my friends are, there's an incredible black bean hummus and guacamole substitute. If not, then you try either pork, chicken breast, chicken, or steak. It's hard to believe, but all are fresh and absolutely one of a kind!
When you get to the veggies and sauce section, you'll be close to overwhelmed with choices. The protocol for the original burrito is the fresh lettuce. This really makes the burrito, it's pretty much a necessity!
It's lucky that Florida tacos cares so much about their customers' satisfaction. This is apparent in the freshness of absolutely everything, right down to the delicious tomatoes! This has to be one of my favorite items on the menu, fresh tomatoes are my weakness!
Along with other veggie choices, the original burrito then calls for diced green onions. If you're a fan of diced green onions, you will not believe these! They are some of the best I've ever had by far!
When deciding on a sauce to bring your burrito together, you usually have to be very careful. In South Florida, you can count on almost any sauce to compliment your burrito, I'm sure of it! The one suggested for the original is the curry mustard, man was it delicious.
I asked the helpful employees that worked there how all of the ingredients were prepared. I was not surprised to learn that they were cooked fresh every day. Each employee was specialized in making a different set of ingredients!
West Palm tacos turns out some of the best wraps I have ever tasted. I'm surprised that the Original burritos along with all of the other flour burritos isn't all over the map! People need to hear about this!
