The Mediterranean Tacos Brings Down The House!
Lately in Wellington, Florida (one of South Florida's many popular areas), I have been eating a lot of flavorful burritos. I think I have tried all of different styles for burritos and have decided to move on to tacos! I was initially very excited. If tacos were even half as delicious as the burritos I had been eating recently then I was in for a treat. In retrospect though, I was wholly unprepared for what followed. I have never had a taco taste as good as the Mediterranean tacos before in my life! I don't know what I was expecting, but this was not it!
It was off to a fantastic start when I saw them lay out three soft flour tortillas. The dough looked absolutely incredible and my mouth was already watering. I was glad that it looked as if I was not going to leave hungry!
When passing over to the meat section, the nice gentleman working informed me that the mediterranean was a vegetarian selection, but meat could be added at no extra charge. I decided to go with the vegetarian. Many of my friends have made this decision, and they did not regret it.
The next step was a rare black bean hummus. This is where the protein was for the vegetarians! And wow was it incredible. I've never seen anything quite like it!
The next item they added to each individual tortilla was diced tomatoes. They informed me that these tomatoes were grown and bought locally! In favor of local farming and of grill restaurants, I was not surprised to see that these tomatoes were fresh and fit for a king!
When I got to the cheeses, my eyes widened. Cheese is probably one of my favorite delicacies ever, and I was overwhelmed with choices. When I asked what they suggested for the mediterranean, the employees all recommended parmesan. They really knew what they were talking about!
After the cheese, moving down the line of ingredients, I added cucumbers. These fresh cucumbers were absolutely divine. They brought a completely different twist to my taco! I also decided to add a little bit of delicious corn!
Arguably the most important part is the sauce. For the mediterranean, you'll want to employ the balsamic vinaigrette. This is easily the best decision with this taco and you will not look back.
Nowhere in the field of breakfast burrito does anything compare to the Mediterranean taco. I am so satisfied with my purchase. I cannot wait to experience more of this fine grill restaurants.
