There are numerous indications of being healthy.By simply taking a look at the height age chart, we can know if we are in good condition. Other than the height age chart, our weight is the best indicator we can look at to know if we are healthy. Our weight says a lot about our current health condition and is the gauge to which we can determine if all the diet and exercise that we do are effective enough. This is also part of the reason why people who are on a diet are also conscious about their weight. Furthermore, reaching an ideal weight has become the primary objective of a lot of overweight and obese women.
A healthy weight is very necessary to a person's health and well-being. Many fitness and wellness experts can attest that having an ideal weight is crucial for keeping our bodies in good condition and moreover, away from any forms of sickness or diseases. Reaching or maintaining an ideal weight can help in lowering the risks of the most common health problems and conditions. In addition, being able to achieve an ideal body mass index and a smaller waist line is a big confidence boost and helps in making a person more attractive to the opposite sex.
However, reaching an ideal weight is far from what the BMI and our waist line would tell us.The rule is plain and comprehensible, no pain, no gain. Achieving a healthy weight needs a substantial amount of effort from our part. It requires patience, dedication and commitment to be able to achieve this goal.
A healthy diet and regular exercise is what most fitness and health experts would suggest in achieving a healthy weight. A healthy diet means a well-balanced one and it does not mean not eating at all. People who starve themselves just to get thin and achieve an ideal weight should not be followed.Extreme dieting and not eating at all can prevent us from having the right amount of nutrition and all the essential nutrients that our bodies need.
Whereas, a well balanced diet should be composed of high protein and high fiber foods. Vegetables, fruits and meat are perfect for a healthy diet but we should be able to have a good mix of them in our meal. Refraining from eating fatty and high in cholesterol foods can also help in weight loss and management. In addition, if we want to achieve an ideal weight, we must stay away from unhealthy foods and change our unhealthy eating habits.
Apart from a well-balanced diet, regular exercise is also crucial in reaching an ideal weight. Regular exercise does not mean working out in the gym for long hours and doing punishing heavy exercises.Regular light exercises in the morning are proven to be effective in weight loss. Walking is the most fundamental and the best form of exercise we can do to be able to achieve an ideal weight.
Aside from the height age chart, our weight is a clear indication of our being healthy. Our weight is indicative of our current health condition and is the gauge to which we can measure if all the diet and exercise that we do are effective enough. To achieve a healthy weight we need to do more than regular exercise and a healthy diet. We must also have patience, dedication and commitment to healthy living.
